KneeStrider Rentals
A KneeStrider is an alternative to crutches. It is used by post-surgery or injury by those who cannot put weight on a foot or ankle.

You can collect a KneeStrider at Wilgers Hospital, or it can be delivered to you for a nominal fee. During your visit one of our friendly staff members will assist you in adjusting the height of the handles and the knee rest pad. All KneeStriders are serviced after rental to ensure a quality product is delivered to you. Please note that all KneeWalkers are subject to availability.
Available in Pink and Bluel, the Economy KneeStrider provides a reliable and comfortable alternative to crutches for patients needing an effective mobility solution at an affordable price.
Ideal for indoor use, the steerable knee scooter walker features four smooth 7.5" diameter rubber wheels. Compatible with both the right and left legs, the Economy KneeStrider is lightweight and portable.
Weight limit of 90kg is advised.
Hybrid KneeStrider
The Hybrid features all terrain pneumatic front wheels in a four-wheel design for maximum freedom and stability. Compatible with both the right and left legs, the hybrid offers a 3" thick contoured knee platform and ergonomic rubber hand grips for complete comfort.
This kneeStrider is lightweight and portable with a simple folding mechanism

Deluxe KneeStrider
The Deluxe four-wheel design for maximum freedom and stability . Compatible with both the right and left legs, the deluxe strider offers a 3" thick contoured knee platform and ergonomic rubber hand grips for complete comfort. This KneeStrider is lightweight and portable with a simple folding mechanism.

Rental Terms and conditions
1. By renting the KneeStrider from the Owner, the Renter agrees that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms herewith stated.
2. The Owner shall not be liable in any event of loss, delay or damages of any nature whatsoever resulting from the use of the knee walker.
3. The Renter is responsible for the KneeStrider from the time it is handed over to the renter until it is returned in good working order to the Owner. If failure to return the device in good working order occurs, the renter will be liable for an account of any repairs or replacement that needs to take place by our mechanic.
4. The Renter agrees to use the KneeStrider at his/her own risk and accepts all responsibility for the device while in their possession.
5. The Renter agrees to make an upfront payment for the initial rental period and thereafter agrees to make further payment should the Renter wish to extend the rental period. All payments are to be up to date by the end of the rental period.
6. The renter agrees that all fees are due for the days that the KneeStrider is in their possession, irrespective of whether it is used or not.
7. The renter agrees to pay a refundable deposit of R500 for the Economy Striders and R1000 for the other KneeStriders. This deposit will be refunded upon the return of the knee walker if it is in good condition.
8. The renter agrees to inform the rooms 24 hours in advance if the KneeStrider will not be returned on the indicated date.
9. Please note that the rental fee of the KneeStriderr cannot be claimed from your medical aid.
10. The deposit and full rental amount is due before collection of the KneeStrider.
11. The deposit will be refunded if the KneeStrider is returned in good condition, once the return form is completed
12. The rental period can be increased if needed, just send a WhatsApp with the new return date
13. A KneeStrider can be returned sooner than the indicated date and you will be refunded for the portion of the rental period between the return date and the indicated return date.
14. KneeStrider rental period is calculated for a full week, not for portions of a week
